This fall has been abnormally warm in the northeast, making it even more ideal for families to have their portraits taken with me before the the holidays!

I had a delightful morning photographing this gorgeous family and their adorable daughter, Marie, down in lower Manhattan a few weeks ago! Marie was just getting over a little cold, but with the help of mom and dad, we managed to get a few smiles out of this ball of sunshine!

Between naps and feedings, scheduling a family portrait session with a child under 2 years of age can be quite tricky! However, early mornings always seem to work out best for little ones, and I’m so glad that I got to capture Marie in her happy place before she went down for her nap!
