I love a good beach session, but every Bay Area local knows the drill — it can be bright and warm at home, then ten degrees cooler and totally cloudy once you hit the coast! Beach weather here is always a little unpredictable, and that’s part of the adventure.

As a photographer, I’ll always choose golden hour over gray skies, but sometimes Mother Nature has other plans. Thankfully, the K family brought their own golden hour with them through their bright, joyful spirit! They embraced the clouds and fog, and together we still created the most magical, love-filled images.
