Alexandra Turns One

Meet 1 year old Alexandra who came into our studio for her 1st birthday portraits! This adorable girl was probably the most mobile 1 year old I have ever had the pleasure of photographing! As soon as Alexandra arrived at the studio, she immediately wanted to explore anything and everything around her! Containing this curious 1 year old was no easy task, but with a little help from her family and some delicious puff cereal, we managed to capture super adorable portraits of Alexandra!

Campbell Cake Smash Photo Session

When it comes to the cake smash portion of our studio milestone sessions, you just never know how a baby will react to his/her first taste of birthday cake! Before demolition takes place, we always like to photograph our beautiful cake made by Roxy’s Sweet Treats! Then we sit baby in front of the cake and let them taste their first bit of icing. From this point on, babies either start gobbling up their tasty treat or they want nothing to do with it! Either way, it’s always a fun surprise and a moment worth capturing!

Cake smashes are always messy, so we love to end these sessions with a fun bubble bath in our baby sized clawfoot bathtub! In addition to getting some darling portraits of your baby in our popular bath setup, this gives parents a chance to gently bathe their child from all that gooey icing before heading home!
