If there was a slacker award for people who take the longest to post their vacation photos, we’d sadly win it, hands down!
These photos are from our trip to Arizona that we took almost a year ago to. Daniel, our mom, and I hit all the hot spots- The Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, old Route 66, and Antelope Canyon. We loved the vast mountainous desert landscapes and the beautiful sunsets in Arizona! Definitely a trip we recommend for nature lovers and landscape photographers! Enjoy!
Horseshoe Bend – the overlook is 4,200 feet above sea level and the Colorado River is at 3,200 feet above sea level making it a breathtaking 1,000 foot drop. Had to army crawl it to the edge with our camera for this shot. Not recommended for the weak-hearted!
A breathtaking scenic overlook that we stopped at on our way to Sedona, Arizona! Very Lord-of-the-Rings-esque, no?
Sunset at Sedona, AZ!
The Grand Canyon at sunset! If you ever plan on getting a sunset shot here, be prepared to fight for a spot amongst 1,000 other tourists with cameras!
Off-roading in a pick up truck on our way to the slot canyons.
Antelope Canyon- the most visited and most photographed slot canyon in the American Southwest. We missed the high noon tour when the sunbeams shoot down from the top of the Canyon, but it was still beautiful nonetheless.
An old car from the days of Route 66.
