Reverend Kim’s Retirement

Oy, apologies for lack of updating these days! Daniel and I have been so busy with work, photo shoots, and wedding prep that we rarely have time to update our websites with our latest photos! Only 24 more days to go until our wedding! ACK!

Anyway, last month we had the privilege of shooting Reverend Kim’s retirement dinner (aka Judy’s dad!). Although most of the celebration dinner was in Korean and we couldn’t understand a word of it, the event was lovely and intimate and a joy for us to capture. Of course my favorite subjects to shoot that night were the little kiddies. Kids make the darnest faces!

Nicholas & Sophia’s Baptism

Last month, Daniel and I were given the wonderful opportunity to shoot a Greek Orthodox infant baptism for Nicholas and Sophia, a pair of adorable 6 month old twins. Unlike the typical water on the head baptism we were accustomed to, witnessing an elaborate ceremony involving a full on baby dunking was definitely a sight to see. The ceremony was then followed by a wonderful reception celebrating the baptism of the infants, which was filled with dinner and dance. Needless to say, Daniel and I had a great time documenting this unique event!

In other news, we would like to present to you our new company, Two Leaf Photography. Being that we are getting married in a few months and share the same passion for photography, why not start a husband and wife photo company together?
