About a month ago, I was incredibly blessed to have received a random request from an ad agency asking me to do food photography for their client, Smith & Wollensky. Aside from shooting food for the restaurant group that I work for, I have never been asked to do such a high caliber shoot (so you can imagine the nervous excitement that I was going through). It also didn’t help that I only had a week to prepare for the shoot, so it was a good thing that Daniel and Ken were kind enough to give me some helpful pointers beforehand. If you’re reading this guys, this digital meal is on me, hahaha! Oh and a special thank you to the lovely Miss Elaine Ra for working as my photo assistant. I’d dedicate this digital meal to you as well, but I’m sure you were as sick of seeing the food for 10 hours as much as I was, haha!
Originally the food was going to be shot at the Smith & Wollensky in Manhattan, but it was eventually relocated to the one in Philadelphia due to some last minute changes. So after 10 hours, 956 shots, 20+ dishes, and the most succulent slabs of meat I’ve ever seen, we called it a wrap!
It’s amazing how God answers our prayers, and He answered my prayer over my finances in the most appetizing way! Whohoo, praise the Lord!
Btw, hope you’re not hungry!
